The butchery Stutzer & Flüeler AG was founded in autumn 2003 from the merger of the butchery Stutzer in Stans and the butchery Flüeler in Kerns. We are a traditional butchery with our own slaughtering and production. Our customers appreciate our classic offer very much. Traditional, but at the same time open-minded for new things, not nostalgic, but modern, that is our motto. We are very strongly connected with our region. We buy our cattle from farms in Ob and Nidwald, with whom we have a long-standing relationship of trust. They give us the guarantee of healthy and species-appropriate animals. The short transport routes are also entirely in our interest. In our stores in Kerns and Stans we can offer our customers quality and freshness in a modern environment. The company currently employs around 40 people, including 2 apprentices.

Flexibility and competent advice are among our strengths. The professional advice of the customers is a central part of our offer and of course we spoil them with all the advantages that a private butchery has to offer.

Production

In Kerns on the Untergasse, in addition to the large newly designed sales store, is our modernly equipped butchery and production facility. Here, in the leading meat processing plant in the canton of Obwalden, we produce a number of our own award-winning specialties. Thanks to our size and flexibility, we are able to offer meat and sausage products of the highest quality and freshness.

Gastro - Deliveries

For the regional gastronomy we are a reliable team with our rich experience. In addition to catering establishments, we also supply canteens, retail stores and schools with our fine meat products.

Grilled specialties

During the barbecue season you will find a wide range of barbecue products in our stores. Selected pieces of meat are marinated with homemade marinades and self created spice mixtures.

Together with the bakery Christen, the dairy Barmettler and the fruit and greengrocer Marco Vittori we form the store community Dorfplatz 9 and offer everything for everyday life. We are aimed at quality-conscious customers who appreciate a wide range of products and individual advice when shopping.
